So, this is it. With the last chapter “How to Stop an Exploding Man“, the first season of NBC’s Heroes is over.
To be honest, I’m a bit disappointed. I expected a more exciting end, expecially for Sylar’s death (well almost death) by Hiro’s sword. It all ended in less than 5 minutes…
And what about Claire? She almost didn’t cried at all after his father Nathan and his uncle Peter died to save the world!
I cannot wait for the next season! In the meantime, it looks like Italia 1 will be airing the first season in September, let the Heroes save the world again!
If you’re one of the few that doesn’t know what Heroes is, take a look at Heroes page on wikipedia, but don’t go too far, you better watch all the episodes first! ![]()

Yesterday I’ve been at the PHPDay 2007 in Verona with my Nimboo friend Giovanni Intini, during the travel to Verona on the train, we played with Erlang, Ruby and PHP writing small programs to compute Pythagorean triplets and comparing performances.
I don’t want to tell you yet who’s the winner, you will find the results of our tests in Giovanni’s blog.
Update: the battle continues here.
The PHPDay 2007 is over, I enjoyed talking about Yahoo! technologies to the (not so many) people attending the event.
Below you can find the slides of my talk on PHP at Yahoo:
Many thanks to Fullo for organizing the event!
